way, typically still sealed and has never been played. This grade is rarely assigned.

•Near Mint (NM or M-): The record appears nearly perfect, showing no obvious signs of wear. It may have been played a few times but has no surface noise or distortion.

•Very Good Plus (VG+): The record shows some signs of use but plays well without significant issues. It may have minor surface marks that do not affect playback.

•Very Good (VG): The record has noticeable wear and may have surface noise, but it is still playable. It may have scratches or
scuffs that are audible but not
overwhelming.

•Good (G): The record is playable but has significant scratches and surface noise. It may skip or have other playback issues.

•Fair (F): The record is heavily worn and
may be unplayable. It is often used as a placeholder until a better copy is found.

• Poor (P)/Worn (W): The record is damaged and not playable. Typically only valuable for collectors of rare items.

Understanding this scale will help you ensure you are receiving a record in the condition you want. I do my best to ensure the accuracy of listings based on this scale since the listing photos are not always perfectly representative of the actual condition of the media.
